Profile
Since 1996, over 50 publicly listed company CEOs, worldwide, have been appointed subsequent to their graduation from the CA&D programme and worked directly, and in some instances, exclusively with Robert C. Maybery.
Robert was educated in and specialised in the fields of Clinical and Performance Psychology.
He has held various CEO, EVP and VP positions in the manufacturing, retail and health sectors which have afforded him over thirty-six years of experience, both as a sitting executive and advisor.
During this period, he practised law for a period of nearly four years and specialised in employment law.
Robert was appointed an executive director of a subsidiary of a publicly-listed company at the age of 27 and in 2005 was nominated as one of the top five CEOs by Top Companies Publishing & Events.
He founded and created the brand MAYBERY in 1996. He has personally overseen six brand and company evolution projects.
In 1998, MAYBERY received the IABC Golden Quill Brand Award in New Orleans, USA, for ‘BEST BRAND IDENTITY FOR AN ADVISORY FIRM PROVIDING INTANGIBLE SERVICES’.
In 2011, MAYBERY was voted one of the top 100 most admired corporate stationery brands in the world by FPO (For Print Only).
Robert is the author of the proprietary Performance Fingerprint, a peerless set of Intellectual Property which enables Corporations to navigate, evaluate and master the performance of their chosen strategy. The Performance Fingerprint has achieved global acclaim through its consistent international success. He remains the advisor of choice to many Global Multinationals and National corporations on how to astutely and commercially execute the chosen strategy, successfully, through proven leadership capability.
He has personally led significant pre- and post merger and acquisition, capability assessments of the elite executives of prominent Fortune 500 corporations and thereafter advised the many Boards on the critical future steps.
In his advisory career Robert has been involved in many groundbreaking briefs that have had both a national and global impact, specifically in sport, aviation, fast-moving consumer goods and energy.
